Olaf’s Diary 2
Hi I’m Olaf the Snow Man. And snow or man never gossip.
Shh, what I’m going to write down here is that I saw from the keyhole of that door.
“Give us a minute, Olaf.” I heard Elsa but hardly caught a glance of her, coz Anna was almost sneaking into the room and the door shut immediately.
“Okay.” I started counting, “One…two…three…”
“Olaf?” It was Elsa again.
“Yeah?” They…already finished?
“I mean, perhaps five…or ten minutes.”
“Okay. I will be right here~ take your time! Umhumhum” I put my eyes on the keyhole upon reply.
There were large and tall bookshelves, paintings on the wall, icy…and behind the desk sat Elsa, gravely. A strange reddish mark on her face looked funny. Wait, why was it door handle shaped?
I was just about to sort it out before Anna turned her face aside and sniggered.
Elsa cleaned her throat. “Hi.” She greeted with a tight smile and wriggled imperceptibly in her chair, looked like feeling uncomfortable about the seat. “I just heard some words of your conversation, incidentally.”
“Oh, the conversation…” Anna stole a glace at the door. I bet her eyes stopped at the door handle for 0.01 second.
“You…kissed him?”
“Him? You mean that him? Oh you’ve already known that?” Anna turned her face back to her sister, widened her eyes with surprise, but immediately found that she had made a terrible misleading answer to her sister’s misunderstanding of that conversation.
“No, nononono...that’s not what I supposed to say.” She tried to bring the dialogue back on track.
“So it is YOU, kissed him?” The chair turned into ice, Elsa had to stand up.
“……”
For a moment, Anna stared at her sister blankly, couldn’t quite catch her point. “Yeah… I kissed, actually I was just um...and he um…Okay, just say, we kissed.”
Oh I guessed she would never get to the right place.
“But you just met him." And the desk gone.
“Two days! I know you were right Elsa, on Hans. That’s my fault to engage with a man I just met. But Kristoff is different. Whatever, that’s not the point.”
“One-day difference? That’s what you called different?” Ground went white followed Elsa's steps to where Anna stood.
“No, but I don’t want to argue with you about that. Actually I’m commmm…coming to ask you…” I heard her teeth chattered.
“No.” Elsa crossed her arms. “No marriage, no engagement.”
“Wow, easy, easy. I am not asking for your permission on my marriage. And you know the kiss was just…, Ewwww...” Anna tried so hard to make it clearer that her face crumbled. “So I wrote to Rapunzel and asked her whether she had that feeling too, that kissing with a man is so….disg…”
“You’d rather write to Rapunzel…!” From the ceiling, snow began to fall.
“Elsa!" The desperate younger sister pressed her hand on her forehead, “have you ever kissed someone?"
Oh she finally asked! Tell her! And tell her your love is so strong that thawed the ice without a kiss! But wait, why was there more ice? The door handle was getting frosted and snow started to cover the keyhole. I saw some shinny thing glistening in Elsa's eyes. Was that pearl?
But Anna looked scared. I'd never seen her scared however this time, she was really scared.
"Elsa?" She carefully asked. "Are you...crying?"
"No. I'm just angry. You'd better leave now. Or I might hurt you again." Elsa turned around and said in a trembling voice. Thick snow on the keyhole finally blocked the view. The last scene I saw was—
"I won't allow that happen again. You'll never get another chance to hurt me." Anna threw herself to her sister and gave her a bear hug from the back.
Umhumhumhumhum, then I put my ear on the door.
"Stop Anna."
"No."
"Go away!"
"No. Don't even think about it."
"Anna..."
"Okay, can I say something now?"
"Uh..."
"I was just coming to ask how you thawed the ice in my heart. Was it...a kiss?"
There was a long silence and all the ice began to thaw.
"I just wonder did you...how was it feel like, because I must lost conscious at that time...and I wish you could tell...huh......"
The keyhole is clean again but I was too embarrassed to look inside.
